New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the newly appointed national office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party’s central headquarters in New Delhi, marking the beginning of the new team’s organisational responsibilities.
Following the introductory meeting, the Prime Minister interacted with the newly appointed national vice-presidents, national general secretaries, national secretaries, treasurer and presidents of various party morchas. He also posed for a group photograph with the BJP national president and the new team and extended his best wishes to all the office-bearers for their respective responsibilities.
Focus on Strengthening the Organisation at the Grassroots
During his interaction with the party functionaries, PM Modi emphasised the need to further strengthen the organisation from the booth level upwards and ensure that government welfare programmes and policies reach people effectively.
The new national team brings together organisational experience, fresh energy and grassroots connect, with the party expecting the newly appointed office-bearers to play an active role in expanding its outreach and strengthening its organisational network.
The Prime Minister urged the office-bearers to remain focused on public service and organisational responsibilities, while contributing towards the broader national objective of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Senior BJP Leadership Attends Meeting
The meeting was attended by the BJP national president, senior party leaders and the newly appointed national office-bearers. The interaction and group photograph with the Prime Minister marked an important beginning for the newly constituted team as it takes charge of its organisational responsibilities.
