Jaipur: A team of the CJP, led by its co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka, was allegedly heckled, chased and physically attacked while visiting a village in Jaipur district to examine the condition of a local government school.

The incident reportedly took place in Rampura-Kanwarpura village, where the CJP team had gone as part of its campaign concerning the condition of government schools. CJP leaders alleged that their members were assaulted, stones were pelted and vehicles were damaged. The party claimed that those involved in the incident were BJP workers or supporters. However, villagers disputed the allegations and said that funds for repairing the school had already been sanctioned.

Raising questions over the violence, CJP said the focus should instead be on a serious debate about the condition of schools in villages and accountability for improving educational infrastructure.

Videos of the incident have gone viral on social media, drawing wider attention to the confrontation and the condition of the school. The incident is also likely to raise further questions among young people, particularly Gen Z, about transparency, accountability and the state of public education.
