New Delhi : Pawan Hans Limited (PHL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has signed a Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Noemi Aerospace (Elfly AS), Norway, to explore next-generation sustainable aviation technologies, including electric seaplane solutions.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha.
The collaboration aims to examine opportunities for developing and deploying electric seaplane technologies, supporting sustainable aviation and promoting innovation in the sector. It also reflects Pawan Hans’ commitment to adopting emerging technologies and enhancing operational excellence through international partnerships.
The Ministry said the partnership is expected to contribute to the growth of India’s evolving aviation ecosystem by fostering technological cooperation and supporting the country’s long-term sustainability goals in civil aviation.
