Civil Aviation Minister Awards LoIs for 11 New Flying Training Organisations

New Delhi : Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu awarded Letters of Intent (LoIs) for the establishment of 11 new Flying Training Organisations (FTOs) across the country, marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s aviation training ecosystem.

The Minister also chaired a roundtable interaction with representatives of existing Flying Training Organisations, where discussions focused on enhancing pilot training infrastructure, improving operational efficiency and addressing key issues facing the sector.

On the occasion, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu also launched the FTO Slot App, a digital platform aimed at streamlining slot allocation and improving coordination for flying training operations.

The initiatives are expected to boost India’s pilot training capacity and support the growing demand for skilled aviation professionals as the country’s civil aviation sector continues to expand.
