Indian Navy Eastern Fleet Visits Singapore, Pays Tribute at Kranji War Memorial

New Delhi/Singapore : Ships of the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet, currently on a port visit to Singapore, have undertaken a series of engagements aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation between India and Singapore under the banner #BridgesofFriendship 🇮🇳🤝🇸🇬.

In a solemn ceremony, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet (FOCEF) Rear Admiral Alok Ananda, along with the Commanding Officers of the visiting Indian Navy ships, paid homage at the Kranji War Memorial in Singapore. The tribute was held to honour fallen soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in defence of shared values of freedom and peace.

During the visit, the delegation also interacted with Colonel Ang Chun Hou Bertram, Fleet Commander of the Republic of Singapore Navy.

The discussions focused on further strengthening maritime defence cooperation and operational partnership between the Indian Navy and the Republic of Singapore Navy, reaffirming the strong naval ties and shared commitment to regional maritime security.
