New Delhi/ London : High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom, P. Kumaran, met Seema Malhotra (@SeemaMalhotra1), Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Indo-Pacific, earlier today at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), UK (@FCDOGovUK).
The meeting, as shared by the official account of the High Commission of India in London, focused on strengthening India–UK relations in the wake of recent developments in the bilateral partnership.
Both sides reaffirmed that the entry into force of the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) marks the beginning of a new phase in the relationship, particularly for businesses and economic stakeholders.
They also underlined a shared commitment to accelerate the implementation of the agreement, deepen cooperation across key sectors, and work towards realizing the long-term objectives outlined under Vision 2035.
The discussions reflected a strong mutual interest in advancing trade, investment, and strategic collaboration between India and the United Kingdom.
