-Women Leaders Share Inspiring Journeys at ICAT’s International Women’s Day Event
Gurugram : International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) organised a special programme on March 6 to celebrate International Women’s Day, highlighting the achievements and contributions of women in different professional fields. The theme of this year’s event was “Give to Gain,” emphasising the importance of women’s support, empowerment and leadership.
The programme featured several accomplished women professionals as chief guests who shared their experiences and insights with the participants. Among them were Dr. Aanchal Jain, Chief Executive Officer of PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd; Mugdha Mishra, an automobile journalist with Autocar India; Sonia Nain, Manager (External Affairs) at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd; and Divya Varghese, Head of Legal Transactions at Hero MotoCorp.
Nearly 50 women employees of ICAT took part in the event, which aimed to encourage professional growth and highlight the role of women in shaping the future of the automotive sector.
Addressing the gathering, Saurabh Dalela, Director of the International Centre for Automotive Technology, extended his greetings to all women on the occasion of International Women’s Day. He commended their dedication and contributions, stating that a nation can achieve real progress only when its women are empowered, prosperous and happy.
During the programme, the organisation also recognised the contributions of its women employees and guest speakers by presenting them with mementos in appreciation of their services and achievements.
The invited speakers shared their professional journeys and encouraged participants to move forward with confidence, teamwork and a commitment to continuous learning.
The event concluded on a positive and energetic note, celebrating the spirit of women’s empowerment and inspiring participants to continue striving for excellence in their respective fields.
