New Delhi : Amid rising tensions linked to the conflict involving Iran, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has announced new military deployments to the Middle East.
President Macron stated that he has ordered the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to move toward the region. He also confirmed that France has already deployed Rafale fighter jets, air-defense systems, and advanced radar capabilities in recent hours, with further deployments expected to continue.
The French President underlined that France maintains defense agreements with several Gulf nations, including Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. He emphasized that France is committed to supporting its partners and ensuring regional stability.
The announcement signals a significant step by France to reinforce security cooperation and strengthen its military presence in the Middle East as geopolitical tensions escalate.
