Gurugram : The Haryana Power Training Institute, Panchkula, organized a special training program on electricity theft prevention and legal procedures at Operation Circle, Hisar today. The program was chaired by Vipin Gupta, Director, Operations Engineer, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam. Engineer Rajendra Sabarwal, Chief Engineer, Operations, Hisar Zone, and Engineer Fahim Raza Naqvi, Superintendent Engineer, Operations, Hisar were also present.
DHBVN spokesperson Sanjay Chugh stated that Engineer VS Mann, Director of Haryana Power Training Institute, Sanjeev Chopra, retired Chief Engineer and Advisor Engineer, and BP Sharma, the department’s panel advocate, participated as expert speakers in the training program.
The training provided detailed information on the precautions to be taken during the investigation of electricity theft and important points to be kept in mind when presenting theft cases in court.
The training program was extremely beneficial, successful and informative, in which all the officers and employees thoroughly understood the important precautions related to prevention of power theft and also shared their suggestions.
In this program, Executive Engineer Engineer Ravindra Singh, Vineet Pattar, Surendra Kumar along with all SDO, JE, Foreman, Lineman, Assistant Lineman, Superintendent, Head Clerk, CA, UDC, LDC etc. about 250 officers and employees of Hisar Operation Circle participated.
