Gurugram : The three-day 18th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference and Expo 2025 is being organized in Gurugram with the aim of sharing best practices in urban mobility at the national and global level, discussing innovations, and charting future paths. This national-level event will be held at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Sector 83 from November 7th to 9th, and will be attended by experts, policymakers, city planners, and industry representatives from across the country and abroad.
DC Ajay Kumar inspected the venue on Wednesday and reviewed the preparations. He directed officials from the concerned departments to ensure that no shortcomings are left in welcoming guests, traffic management, parking, security arrangements, and other facilities during the event. The Deputy Commissioner stated that this event is a matter of pride not only for Gurugram but for the entire state of Haryana.
He explained that the conference will feature numerous technical sessions related to urban transportation, modernizing public transport, e-mobility, road safety, traffic management, and sustainable development. The exhibition will also showcase the country’s leading companies’ latest technologies and solutions. The Deputy Commissioner stated that this event will further strengthen Gurugram’s recognition as a leading city in the field of smart urban transportation.
Manesar SDM Darshan Yadav, GMRL Director (Finance) Rajat Verma, Director (RS&E) Rajesh Chaturvedi, Director (Projects) SR Sangwa, Advisor Urban TPT Sujata Sanwat, DPRO Bijendra Kumar, and other officials were present.
