No eligible woman should be deprived of the benefits of the scheme – DC Ajay Kumar

Gurugram : DC Ajay Kumar directed to ensure complete registration of eligible women under the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana (DDLLY) in Gurugram district. He stated that this scheme is an important initiative of the government to empower women towards economic self-reliance and no eligible woman should be deprived of its benefits.

DC Ajay Kumar held a meeting with the concerned officials in the conference hall at the Mini Secretariat and provided necessary guidelines. Earlier, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar and Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, from Chandigarh, reviewed the progress report related to applications from all the Deputy Commissioners of the state and provided necessary guidelines to increase the number of applications.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that an awareness campaign is being conducted in the district with the help of village secretaries, Anganwadi workers, and ASHA workers.

Under the scheme, women from families with an annual income of up to ₹1 lakh will receive ₹2,100 per month directly into their bank accounts. Eligible women must be at least 23 years old and have been residents of Haryana for the past 15 years at the time of application. Any number of eligible women in a family can benefit from the scheme.

Registration can be done through the DDLLY mobile app, available on the Google Play Store and App Store. An active mobile number linked to Aadhaar and a mobile phone with a camera are required for application. You will receive an OTP upon logging into the app, and a registration ID will be sent via SMS and WhatsApp after the application is submitted.
