Afghanistan and Pakistan Agree for Immediate Ceasefire

New Delhi : According to international media reports, an immediate agreement has been reached to end the ongoing war between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The report states that Qatar’s Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday morning that Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire at peace talks held in Doha.

Turkey-mediated talks between the two countries have reached an agreement to end the week-long border conflict. Hundreds of people on both sides have reportedly been killed and thousands injured in this conflict.

A statement from Qatar’s Foreign Ministry claims that the two countries will meet in the coming days for further talks and to find a formula to ensure the sustainability of the ceasefire.
