-Experts to discuss innovations in sports; conference to continue till October 12
Gurugram : The 4th International Conference on Sports Engineering (ICSE 2025) will commence on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Hotel Radisson, Udyog Vihar, Gurugram. The conference is being organized with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, with Dronacharya Government College, Gurugram as the co-host institution. The three-day event will conclude on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Padma Shri awardee Dr. Sunil Dabas informed that more than 150 participants from India and abroad will take part in the conference, including leading academicians, Ph.D. researchers, sports professionals, startup innovators, scientists, and government officials. The conference is being organized by the Sports Engineering Association, India. As a biennial event, it serves as an important platform to promote knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship in the field of sports engineering.
Harbinder Singh to receive Lifetime Sports Achievement Award
Dr. Dabas further shared that the highlight of the conference will be the presentation of the Lifetime Sports Achievement Award to legendary hockey player Mr. Harbinder Singh, recognizing his outstanding contribution of over six decades to the sport. In addition, a special plenary session on “Peace and Transformation through Traditional Games and Sports” will be held, focusing on the social and cultural impact of sports.
