Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Thoughts are Our Source of Inspiration : Anurag Bakshi

Gurugram : A staunch nationalist, skilled organizer, founder of the Jan Sangh (now the Bharatiya Janata Party), and proponent of ideas like Integral Humanism and Antyodaya, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay is today a source of inspiration not only for the Bharatiya Janata Party but for millions of Indians.

Anurag Bakshi, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Haryana and former Chairman of the Haryana Government, made these remarks yesterday during a program organized by the Sheetla Mandal of the District BJP, Gurugram, at Gopal Vihar Booth No. 5 to commemorate Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary.

Bakshi, along with Sheetla Mandal President Parivrat Kataria, Mandal General Secretary Rajesh Rohilla, Amit Raghav, BJP Municipal Councilor from Ward No. 26, Mrs. Sunita Verma, and other party workers, garlanded and paid homage to the portraits of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

In his address, Bakshi recounted how Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, struggling with difficult family circumstances, pursued his education and later, along with Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, founded the Jana Sangh and became its national president. He emphasized the adoption of Swadeshi and advocated for the promotion of small and cottage industries for economic development. To build an all-encompassing, all-inclusive society, he gave birth to the idea of Antyodaya (antyodaya), so that the benefits of development could reach the deprived and exploited. He was also the proponent of the idea of Integral Humanism. His ideas remain relevant today and serve as a source of inspiration for millions across the country.

Mandal President Parivrat Kataria stated that as part of the Seva Pakhwada program directed by the state government and the district office, Sheetla Mandal BJP, Gurugram, celebrated the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the Banyan Tree of the Bharatiya Janata Party (formerly Jana Sangh), and tree plantation programs were held with full dignity and respect at all the Mandal booths. Mandal General Secretary Rajesh Kumar Rohilla and Amit Raghav managed the program. Mandal Vice President Shri Jile Singh Saini, Prem Lata, Secretary Himanshu Dixit, IT Head Shri Ramesh, media person Mahipal, J.P. Sharma, Mukul, and the entire Mandal team were present.
