Chandigarh: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended ISBTI’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, TRANSCON 2025, as the chief guest. Cabinet Minister Arvind Sharma was also present.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini congratulated the organizers of TRANSCON 2025.
He said that it was a great privilege for him to be present on the occasion of ISBTI’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations. It symbolizes the organization’s 50 years of tireless efforts and service.
The Chief Minister said that it was a great honor for Haryana to host ISBTI’s historic Golden Jubilee Conference. The theme of the conference was “Golden Jubilee Transcon: Past Achievements and Future Horizons.”
He said that this was an occasion where meaningful and in-depth discussions would explore new ways to address future challenges in the health sector.
The Chief Minister said that ISBTI’s primary objective was to improve the quality of blood banks in the country and to inspire people to donate blood voluntarily across the country.
He said that patients need safe blood in accidents, surgeries, deliveries, and diseases like cancer and thalassemia.
The Chief Minister emphasized that we should encourage research on next-generation blood testing, artificial intelligence-based blood matching, and artificial blood, as required by the times.
He said that Transcon 2025 is the first Indian medical conference to launch the Go Green initiative. He also launched the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign in the state.
According to him, a total of 149 Blue Centers are operational in Haryana, and the target is to collect 330,000 units of blood this year. He said that this three-day conference will set new dimensions in the field of blood transfusion and IH.
