Gurugram : Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh today met Gurugram’s international Taekwondo players Geeta Yadav, Ritu Yadav and Priya Yadav at his office in Civil Lines and congratulated them on their achievements.

The Cabinet Minister said that these three sisters are increasing India’s pride on the international stage on the strength of their hard work, dedication and passion. They are not just players but the dream that the people of Haryana had seen with the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. Rao Narbir Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the Haryana Government has taken historic steps to nurture and support sports talent at every level. This is the reason why today Haryana’s sports policy is considered a model in the entire country.
Rao called for financial support from industrial institutions and society
Rao Narbir Singh said that the government is giving every possible support to the players, but the role of society is most important in realizing the big dreams of the players. There are huge financial needs for high level training, foreign trips, equipment, nutrition and participation in competitions. He called upon industrial houses, business institutions, social organizations, social workers and the general public to become the strength of these daughters. Become partners in their struggle through financial encouragement and support. He said that this will not only help the three daughters, but will also be a message to the coming generations that the society is not behind in giving wings to the dreams of its daughters. He said that in the coming times, when these daughters will return with golden achievements in the Olympics and world level competitions, then every person who has supported them will feel himself a part of this proud journey.
Names of all three Taekwondo players registered in Asia and India Book of Records
Jitendra Yadav, father of the three daughters, said that the three sisters have created history and have registered their names in the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. He said that
This is the first time in the history of sports that three real sisters have represented a country and won a medal together. The Cabinet Minister said that this achievement of the daughters is a matter of pride and inspiration not only for Gurugram and Haryana, but for the whole of India.
International achievements of the three sisters of Gurugram
While giving information about the achievements of the three sisters, Jitendra Yadav said that Geeta Yadav – Medalist in WT President Cup 2025 (Australia), Australian Open 2025 and World University Games 2025 (Germany). Australian Open (Silver), President Cup and Oceania Open (Gold) in 2023. Also won medals in Swedish Open and European Cup in 2022. Won silver medal in South Asian Games.
