New Delhi : Bhartiya Janta Party reacted sharply on the statement of the opposition’s Vice Presidential Candidate P Sudershan Reddy. Senior BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “Retired Supreme Court judge Sudarshan Reddy is the opposition alliance’s candidate for the post of Vice President… When a judge comes to the electoral arena and talks big, questions are bound to arise.
Addressing a Press meet at BJP HQ New Delhi former law minister Shri Prasad said that Sudarshan Reddy has given a statement that ‘vote for me to save the soul of the nation’. On the other hand, he met RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is guilty in the fodder scam. He asked in a questioning tone, “What kind of retired Supreme Court judge are you that you are meeting a person who is guilty in the scam?…This is hypocrisy. Please do not talk about the soul of the nation.”
Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad raised a question on the statement of the President of the Congress party in which Mallikarjun Kharge A poor farmer, whose pea crop was destroyed by floods and heavy rains, went there to share his pain. But Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge responded by saying : “Why have you come here, why are you showing off ? Your 4 acres are gone, but I’ve lost 40 acres of crop myself.”
Criticizing congress leader Shri Prasad said that ” So, for the first time, we learn that Kharge owns 40 acres of land! Mr Kharge, what kind of arrogance is this? The farmer came to you with his suffering. Your party is in power in Karnataka and you are the national president of Congress. ”
BJP MP said that ” The BJP government in Himachal Pradesh had increased the salaries of government employees on 13 September 2022. But the present Congress government has withdrawn that increased salary by issuing an order and has given the reason that they are unable to handle the financial condition of Himachal. So did the Congress come only to deceive the people by promising ‘khata khata’? Running the government is not in your (Congress) capacity! “
