Strengthening Work will Start on 6000 km Long Roads in Haryana This Month : Rao Narbir Singh

Gurugram : Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that a provision was made for the repair and strengthening of about six thousand kilometers long roads in Haryana during the financial year 2025-26. The tender process for the construction of these roads has been completed and work on them will start as soon as the rains stop this month. He said this while addressing the National Transport Day program organized by the All India Transport Association (ABTA) in Bahoda Kala of the district on Saturday.

Historic work done in the field of national highways in the last 11 years

Rao Narbir Singh said that the last 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the golden period of the field of road transport. During this period, historic work has been done on national highways in the country. Today, all the districts of the state are connected to national highways. Such work has not been done even in the 60 years of independence. The time period to travel from one end of Haryana to the other has been reduced to half as compared to earlier.

Work will be done on the demands of the Transport Association soon

He said that the intention of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini is that every section should get all kinds of facilities. On reaching the function, the officials of the All India Transport Association welcomed the Minister of Industry and Commerce by garlanding and tying a turban. Along with this, a letter of demands related to the transport sector was also handed over. The Minister of Industry and Commerce listened carefully to the demands of the association and assured that work will be seen on your demands soon. Also, additional cameras will be installed on KMP so that there is no confusion about the toll. Apart from this, the work of flyovers of Bilaspur and Manesar will also start soon and work will also be done on new connecting roads.
