– Cabinet Minister called upon the young generation to adopt yoga in life
Gurugram : Haryana’s Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh on Friday reiterated his determination and commitment towards yoga by participating in the yoga training program organized at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector-38. This training session was organized by the AYUSH Department as part of the preparations for the International Yoga Day to be celebrated on June 21.
Hundreds of yoga practitioners, social organizations and local citizens participated enthusiastically in this program organized in the morning atmosphere. The participants were made to practice various yogasanas, pranayama and meditation methods by yoga instructors.
Addressing the gathering, Rao Narbir Singh said that Yoga is not only the cultural heritage of India, but it is a science that gives the message of health, harmony and spiritual peace to the entire world. Today, yoga has become a global identity due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He also said that the state government is constantly making efforts to spread yoga to the masses and such events being organized by the AYUSH department are significantly increasing health awareness in the state. He especially urged the young generation to adopt yoga in their lives and make it a part of a disciplined lifestyle.
The training camp was conducted under the guidance of District Ayurvedic Officer Dr. Manju Kumari. Protocol exercises were conducted by yoga assistant Joginder Singh.
