Gurugram : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini praised the efforts of Vishwa Shanti Kendra, stating that the organization is doing remarkable work in connecting the world, uniting humanity, and fostering an environment of peace and brotherhood. He emphasized that the Kendra, established by Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, represents a historic step in advancing the Acharya’s vision and ideals.
The Chief Minister made these remarks at the seminar on nation building through the balance of power and peace in the auditorium of the Vishwa Shanti Kendra in Gurugram on Thursday after paying his respects to Pujya Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni. In the national seminar dedicated to the brave soldiers of India, he greeted Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni and saluted the martyrdom of the nation’s heroes.
India possesses strength with peace: Chief Minister
At the seminar on nation-building through the balance of power and peace, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini stated that India exemplifies strength alongside peace. He emphasized that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s vision is focused on eliminating terrorism—not waging war.
The Chief Minister noted that India has taken systematic and decisive steps to root out terrorism and ensure national security. He highlighted the government’s commitment to the vision of a “Developed India 2047,” through strategic and concrete initiatives across sectors. Praising the Prime Minister’s far-sighted leadership, Sh. Saini said that this vision is helping the country progress in every field. He paid tribute to the brave soldiers who were recently martyred in attacks on India’s borders, honoring their supreme sacrifice.
He added that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the government is committed to building a harmonious society through the inclusive policy of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.
The Centre plays a vital role in establishing moral values
The Chief Minister expressed heartfelt gratitude to Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni for his unwavering dedication to public service and for taking a leading role in this noble cause. He highlighted that the mission of this centre is to uphold the ideals of non-violence, compassion, and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the belief that the world is one family. For the past 20 years, Dr. Muni has been guiding society through the Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti institution in promoting these values. In today’s world, plagued by violence, terrorism, war, and conflict, the efforts of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti serve as a beacon of hope-a lighthouse in the darkness. The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the institution’s long-standing initiatives, including the non-violence yatra, moral education programs, de-addiction efforts, and the promotion of ethical values in society.
The centre is a platform for scientific, philosophical and social perspectives
The Chief Minister further emphasized that India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage has always advocated peace, tolerance, and harmony. He said that this is the land that has given rise to enlightened figures such as Bhagwan Shri Ram, Yogiraj Shri Krishna, Bhagwan Mahavir, Mahatma Buddha, and Guru Nanak. Today, this centre not only disseminates religious and spiritual teachings but also serves as a hub for research and dialogue on peace and non-violence from scientific, philosophical, and social perspectives. Ongoing research, as well as special workshops on de-addiction, mental peace, and meditation, are being conducted to further this mission.
Considering Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji as an ideal, Sh Nayab Singh Saini stated that saints like him are showing the path of peace to the entire world. Whether it is international diplomacy, environmental protection, or the resolve to combat global pandemics, India has consistently worked for the welfare of humanity, inspired and blessed by spiritual leaders like Dr. Muni. He urged those present to take a pledge from this sacred place to make non-violence the core principle of life and to promote peace, harmony, and brotherhood within society.

Vishwa Shanti Duta Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, in his address, emphasized that the organization led by Vishwa Shanti Kendra is actively contributing to the vision of a prosperous India. He affirmed their commitment to guiding society in a new direction through the message of peace, adding that the Jain way of life embodies spirituality and harmony. Paying tribute to the brave soldiers who were recently martyred, Dr. Muni announced that the organization would provide financial support of Rs. 2 lakh each to their families as a gesture of solidarity and respect.
