New Delhi : After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government has started taking strict action against the factless and false news being served in India by Pakistani ministers and YouTube channels. A day earlier, the Pakistani YouTube channel was banned. Now the Twitter ” X “handle of Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has been banned, from whose side provocative, false and misleading things were being continuously posted.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had earlier said that Pakistan is on high alert and its army is fully prepared. He also warned that if there is a direct threat to Pakistan’s existence, it can use nuclear weapons. The Indian government has taken this step after his statement.
After the Pahalgam attack, India is continuously taking strict steps against Pakistan. The Indian government had earlier banned many YouTube channels of Pakistan. Many YouTube channels have been banned on the recommendation of the Home Ministry. These channels were spreading inflammatory and false and misleading things against India, its army and security agencies after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The government says that these channels could harm the peace and unity of the country.
The Pakistani YouTube channels on which India has taken action include Dawn News (19.6 lakh subscribers), Irshad Bhatti (8.27 lakh subscribers), Sama TV (1.27 crore subscribers), ARY News (1.46 crore subscribers), Bol News (78.5 lakh subscribers), Raftar (8.04 lakh subscribers), The Pakistan Reference (2.88 lakh subscribers), Geo News (1.81 crore subscribers), Sama Sports (73.5 thousand subscribers), GNN (35.4 lakh subscribers), Uzair Cricket (2.88 lakh subscribers), Umar Cheema Exclusive (1.25 lakh subscribers), Asma Shirazi (1.33 lakh subscribers), Munib Farooq (1.65 lakh subscribers), Suno News HD (13.6 lakh subscribers) and Razi Nama (2.70 lakh subscribers). India has banned these channels.
