Our hardworking farmers have produced food grains for the huge population of the country.

At the same time, our brave and patriotic soldiers have made many sacrifices to protect the borders of the country. When Haryana was formed on November 1, 1966, our vast area was a desert. But the hardworking people of Haryana turned that desert into a gold-producing land and established its identity as a prosperous state. Many of our folk singers have sung songs about such a sacred and fertile land.
