New Delhi : Aam Adami Party has appointed Sourabh Bhardwaj a former minister of Kejriwal government as the new president of AAP Delhi state unit. The party has also changed its state president of Jammu and Kashmir state unit appointing Mehraj Malik as a new chief. Speaking with media persons Sandeep Pathak, AAP National General Secretary organisation released this information.
Sandeep Pathak was speaking just after the meeting of Aam Aadmi Party PAC. He said that in edition to these decision, PAC also decided to appoint state incharges as well as Deputy incharges of Gujarat, Goa, Punjab and Chhattisgarh .
According to Mr Pathak, Gopal Rai will be state incharge of Gujarat and Durgesh Pathak will be Deputy incharge. Pankaj Gupta will be state incharge of Goa where as Ankush Narang, Aakas Chandela and Deepak Singla will be Deputy incharge of the party.
Sandeep Pathak stated that former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodiya is appointed as state incharge of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab unit and former minister Satyendra Jain will work as Deputy incharge. He also informed that Sandeep Pathak is going to be satate incharge of Chhattisgarh unit.
On his appointment as Delhi state unit chief Sourabh Bhardwaj said ‘ at the present situation who ever are with Aam Aadmi Party are of 24 carats gold, with whom he will work hard and make party strong .’
He also said ‘ almost half of the population of Delhi have voted in favour of Aam Aadmi Party in the last assembly election. Keeping in view of Delhi resident’s interest Aam aadami Party organisation in Delhi will be expanded .
On the announcement of new responsibility Manish Sisodia said that ‘ I express my heartfelt gratitude to Arvind Kejriwal ji and the party leadership for entrusting me with the responsibility of working as the in-charge of Punjab.
The love and trust of the people of Punjab is my inspiration. The results of the work done in the last three years are now clearly visible there, and we are seeing a confident #BadaltaPunjab. Now is the time to give this change rocket speed. My endeavour will be that all AAP leaders, workers, and the government under the leadership of @BhagwantMann ji together fulfill the expectations of the people of Punjab and live up to their trust. ‘
