Survey started in the district for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural : Jagnivas

Gurugram, March 19 : Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) run by the Government of India, a survey has been started to identify eligible families in Gurugram district to provide the benefits of the scheme to the homeless, kutcha or dilapidated houses. Under this scheme, eligible families are provided financial assistance of one lakh 38 thousand rupees for housing construction. After the survey conducted under the guidance of DC Ajay Kumar, the eligible families will soon be given the benefits of the scheme.

Survey will be conducted for eligible families till March 31

Giving information in this regard, Jagnivas, Chief Executive Officer of District Rural Development Authority, said that as per the orders of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and Department of Housing for All, Haryana, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural in Gurugram district, the government has started the survey work for the previously deprived families to make the dream of a pucca house come true for the families living homeless, kutcha / dilapidated houses. The last date for the new survey has been fixed as March 31 by the Government of India. Eligible families can get their survey done by a surveyor registered by the department or by self-survey (by themselves).

Survey can also be done through Awas Plus App

He informed that eligible families can get their survey done on Awas Plus App by contacting the Sarpanch, Panch, Gram Secretary and the concerned Block Development and Panchayat Officer office of their village. The Chief Executive Officer informed that under the scheme, all families living in houses with concrete roof or concrete wall and families living in houses with more than 2 rooms are filtered. Under the automated process, families fulfilling any one of the 10 criteria listed are automatically excluded from eligibility.

These will be the criteria for eligibility of the scheme

Under the eligibility criteria of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, the family should not have a three or four wheeler vehicle, three or four wheeler agricultural equipment. Similarly, the eligible family should not have a Kisan Credit Card with a limit of Rs 50,000 or more and no member of the family should be in a government job. At the same time, the eligible family should not have any non-agricultural enterprise registered with the government. To be eligible for this scheme, the income of any member of the family should not be Rs 15 thousand per month and he should not be an income tax payer. The members of the eligible family should not pay any kind of professional tax. In other criteria of eligibility, the family should not have 2.5 acres or more of irrigated land and five acres or more of non-irrigated land.
