Financial assistance of Rs 50,000 given to ailing youth
New Delhi, October 16 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal continues to set an inspiring example with his unwavering commitment to public welfare. During the Jan Samvad program organized in Kaithal on Monday, Chief Minister once again demonstrated his dedication to serving the people with utmost dedication. At the event, he personally engaged with each attendee, listened to their problems, and actively worked towards resolving them. In some instances, he promptly directed officials to take immediate action on specific complaints.
The Jan Samvad program orgainised at Indira Gandhi College Auditorium in Kaithal drew a significant number of attendees who came forward to present their grievances to the Chief Minister. He personally heard and resolved each complaint. A noteworthy instance during the event was when Rajendra Kumar of Kaithal sought assistance for his son’s illness. In response, Chief Minister announced a discretionary grant of Rs 50,000.
He also instructed the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police to take immediate action regarding various issues of the city.
MBBS seats in Haryana set to increase to 3,000
In his direct interaction with the public, Sh. Manohar Lal emphasized the remarkable development initiatives carried out by present government over the last nine years. He asserted that present government has achieved twice the number of development projects compared to its predecessors. He highlighted the significant increase in the number of medical colleges in the state, growing from 6 to 15 during his tenure. The state now boasts 2185 MBBS seats, with a plan to expand to 3,000 in the near future.
Haryana sees remarkable growth in education sector with the establishment of 72 new colleges
Chief Minister Manohar Lal also stressed that his government’s commitment to equitable development transcended all sectors without discrimination. 72 new colleges have been established in the state, with a special focus on girls’ education as half of these colleges are for girls. The government has actively combated corruption, crime, and caste-based politics, aiming to make government schemes accessible to the common people. The Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) program has played a pivotal role in ensuring that eligible families directly benefit from various schemes, including old-age pensions and healthcare under the Ayushman scheme.
Instant pensions granted to six beneficiaries
Chief Minister Manohar Lal facilitated the on-the-spot approval of pensions for six individuals during the Jan Samvad event. This included old-age pensions and financial assistance pensions to widowers and unmarried persons, making an immediate impact on the lives of those in need.
Speaking on this occasion, MLA Leela Ram praised the extensive developmental works happening in the region. He said that Chief Minister has gifted Parshuram Medical College to Kaithal. Earlier, there has been talk of building a PGI and a medical college in Kaithal for a long time, but this demand was fulfilled by Chief Minister Manohar Lal during his tenure. In addition, Chief Minister has given Rs 25 crore for Kaithal’s road infrastructure, he added.
BJP District President Ashok Gurjar, Municipal Council Chairperson Surabhi Garg, HAFED Chairman Kailash Bhagat and officers of district administrations were also present on this occasion.
