General Dhiraj Seth holds key discussions with Russian Land Forces leadership during official visit to Moscow

Moscow: During his ongoing official visit to Russia, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Dhiraj Seth received a ceremonial Guard of Honour and paid homage at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, reaffirming the longstanding defence and military ties between India and Russia.

As part of the visit, General Dhiraj Seth also visited the Russian Land Forces Headquarters, where he held interactions with senior Russian military leadership on a range of issues of mutual interest.

The discussions focused on further deepening military cooperation, expanding training engagements and strengthening capability development between the Indian and Russian Armies.

The visit provides an opportunity for both sides to enhance institutional-level military engagement and exchange perspectives on areas of shared interest. It also underlines the continued importance of India-Russia defence cooperation and ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral military-to-military ties.
