New Delhi : The Embassy of India in Austria continued its outreach to the Indian diaspora by organising a Consular Camp in Innsbruck on 4 July 2026, aimed at facilitating easy access to essential consular services for the community.
A large number of members from the Indian community participated in the camp and availed themselves of a range of services, including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) applications, passport-related services, surrender of Indian passports, and updates under the gratis OCI scheme.
The initiative was part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to bring consular services closer to the diaspora and ensure efficient, accessible, and citizen-friendly support mechanisms outside the capital city.
Alongside the service facilitation, an Open House interaction was also conducted, providing community members an opportunity to directly engage with embassy officials. The session allowed participants to raise queries, share concerns, and receive real-time guidance on consular and community-related issues.
The event reflected the Embassy’s continued commitment to strengthening engagement with the Indian community in Austria and enhancing responsiveness through regular outreach initiatives.
