Gurugram : Property owners within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) have only until June 30 to take advantage of the Haryana Government’s special property tax relief scheme, which includes a one-time waiver of interest on pending dues and a 10% rebate on property tax for the 2026-27 financial year.
To facilitate hassle-free tax payments, the Municipal Corporation has strengthened arrangements across all its offices. Additional counters have been established at Citizen Facilitation Centres, while dedicated service desks for women and senior citizens have been introduced to ensure quicker assistance and priority service.
The civic body has also deployed tax department officials at all offices without leave to address property tax-related concerns promptly. Special emphasis is being placed on resolving issues such as corrections in property records, ownership-related discrepancies, and other technical problems so that taxpayers can benefit from the government’s concessions before the deadline.

MCG Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya urged residents not to wait until the last moment and encouraged all eligible property owners to clear their property tax dues by Tuesday evening, June 30, to avail themselves of both the interest waiver and the 10% rebate.
He said the Municipal Corporation is committed to providing transparent, citizen-friendly, and efficient services. Directions have been issued to all concerned officials to ensure that taxpayers receive immediate assistance and that all genuine grievances are resolved on the spot to make the payment process smooth and convenient.
The Commissioner further highlighted that timely payment of property tax not only offers direct financial benefits to citizens but also contributes significantly to the city’s development. Revenue generated through property tax helps strengthen essential civic infrastructure, including roads, drinking water supply, sewerage networks, sanitation services, street lighting, and other public amenities.
He appealed to all property owners to make use of the limited-period incentive and complete their tax payments before the June 30 deadline.
