New Delhi /Motihari : The Defence Research and Development Organisation is set to organise a grand exhibition showcasing its cutting-edge technologies and advanced defence systems at Mahatma Gandhi Prekshagrih in Motihari from April 15 to 18, 2026. The exhibition, themed “Shanti, Satya Aur Vigyan Ka Sangam – Surakshit Aur Aatmanirbhar Bharat Ki Aur,” reflects India’s growing focus on self-reliance in the defence sector under the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The event will be inaugurated by Radha Mohan Singh, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence.

The exhibition will feature an extensive array of indigenous defence technologies and systems, offering visitors a comprehensive view of India’s advancements in military innovation. Among the key highlights are sophisticated systems such as the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) System, Akash Surface-to-Air Missile, Akash-NG Missile Launcher, BrahMos Missile, and Prithvi Missile. Advanced strategic capabilities like the Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) Missile, Pralay Missile, and NAG Anti-Tank Guided Missile will also be on display.

In addition, the exhibition will showcase modern artillery and combat platforms, including the Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS), Pinaka Multi Launch Rocket System, and the indigenously developed Main Battle Tank Arjun Mk-I & II along with the Indian Light Tank. Visitors will also get to see cutting-edge radar and surveillance technologies such as the Uttam AESA Radar and drone detection systems.

The display will further include critical defence support and protective technologies like the Automatic Chemical Agent Detection and Alarm (ACADA) systems, Chemical Agent Monitor (CAM), and equipment related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defence, including water purification systems and specialised protective suits. Innovations in materials and soldier protection gear, such as ballistic helmets, blast protection suits, and advanced armour solutions, will also be highlighted.

A special attraction will be the rapid prototype and spatial reality display of the Kaveri Engine, showcasing India’s progress in indigenous aero-engine development. Other exhibits will include modular bridging systems, multi-functional mounted gun systems, holographic sights, and advanced naval materials.

The primary objective of the exhibition is to inspire citizens—particularly the youth—by providing them with a close look at the technologies that are strengthening India’s defence capabilities. It also aims to promote awareness about indigenous innovations and encourage greater participation in the nation’s journey towards self-reliance in defence manufacturing.

Through this initiative, DRDO seeks to highlight its significant contributions to national security while fostering scientific curiosity and innovation among the next generation.
