New Delhi : Lieutenant General RS Sundaram, SM, VSM has taken over as the Director General of Recruiting of the Indian Army.
A highly decorated officer with wide-ranging operational, staff, and leadership experience, he has been awarded the Sena Medal for gallantry and the Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished service.
His appointment reflects the Army’s continued focus on selecting high-quality officers and soldiers. Under his leadership, the recruitment process is expected to become more professional, transparent, and responsive, further strengthening the Army’s operational readiness and future capabilities.
