DC Ajay Kumar Reviewed the Construction work of Sheetla Mata Temple, Gave Instructions to Speed up

The new temple complex will be equipped with modern facilities for the devotees – DC 

Gurugram : An important meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Shrine Board Administrator and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ajay Kumar to review the progress of the construction work of the multi-storey building being built in the temple complex. The meeting was held in the conference hall located at the Mini Secretariat, in which the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shrine Board, SDM Badshahpur Ankit Chokse, Municipal Corporation, Temple Management Committee and Construction Agency officials were present.

During the meeting, DC Ajay Kumar said that the reconstruction work of Sheetla Mata Temple is included in the priority of the state government and keeping in mind the faith and convenience of the devotees, it is very important to complete it with quality within the stipulated time frame.

He reviewed in detail various aspects related to the construction, including technical scrutiny of the peak designs, construction drawings, tender process for stone cladding and HVAC works, redevelopment of the fair ground parking area, estimates of Prasad distribution center, cafeteria, rest area and foot over bridge.

It is noteworthy that a new multi-storey building is under construction on about 4.8 acres of land in the temple complex, which is likely to be completed by September 2026. Modern facilities like Yoga Mandap, Meditation Hall, Tirtha Kund, Open Air Theater, Park for Children, Solid Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) will be made available for the devotees in this building.

DC Ajay Kumar directed the concerned officials to ensure the timeline and quality of all the works through regular coordination and monitoring. He said that this project is very important not only from the religious point of view, but also socially and culturally. Therefore, for its success, all the officers will have to work with full readiness and responsibility.
