New Delhi : India and Pakistan have agreed to ceasefire. This announcement was made by Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri in a brief press briefing today. He said that this decision was taken on the initiative of Pakistan’s DGMO. This ceasefire will come into effect from 5 pm today.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that today at 3.35 pm, Pakistan’s DGMO called India’s DGMO and requested him for ceasefire. India’s DGMO agreed to his request and finally both the countries agreed to ceasefire.
Foreign Secretary said that it was decided to stop all types of ceasefire between the two countries, which includes ammunition, air strike and naval attack.
He said that talks will be held again between the DGMOs of both the countries on 12 May.
