New Delhi : The Media reports say that India has issued NOTAM, a Notice to Air Mission System for war exercises on the Pakistan border. On the other hand as per the instruction of the central govt, nation wide mock drill is going to be held in all 244 districts on May 7. Speculation says that this NOTAM is being seen in connection with the preparation for war against Pakistan.
NOTAM contains information related to the establishment, condition or change of any aeronautical facility, service, process or danger is issued in emergency like situation on the border. Mock drill also be held in many districts adjoining with Pakistan border on May 7, so India has issued NOTAM.
The scope of NOTAM covers the strategic airspace near Karachi and Bholari. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) F-16 jets, AWACS aircraft are deployed in Bholari. Bholari was recently the center of the China-Pakistan joint Shaheen exercise. Similar airspace was used to divert the attention of PAF during the 2019 Balakot attack. India has indicated to increase its readiness near important airbases of Pakistan.
It is worth mentioning that 26 innocent people were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam in Jmamu and Kashmir. This inhuman terror attack spread anger across the country . The people of Jammu and Kashmir also strongly opposed this terror act . Almost all countries strongly condemned this incident. The situation is tense between India and Pakistan and many countries offered mediation for the resolution.
India has also taken many strict actions against Pakistan including diplomatic actions . The preparation of Indian Army, Navy and Air force is on climax .
The Home Ministry has instructed all states to conduct mock drills. In this, air raid warning sirens, control room, hotline from the Air Force, and important services like fire fighting will be checked.
