Prof. M M Goel explained the “Relevance of Needonomics for Vikasit Bharat@2047”

Khanpur, December 08 :  Professor Madan Mohan Goel, former Vice-Chancellor and proponent of the Needonomics School of Thought, addressed participants in an online session during a Refresher Course at UGC- Malviya Mission Centre (MMC) BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya. The theme of his discussion was “Relevance of Needonomics for Vikasit Bharat@2047.” Dr. Shafali Nagpal, Director of MMC delivered the welcome address and presided over the event. Dr Pawan Verma presented a citation on Prof. M.M. Goel highlighting his achievements.

Prof. Goel emphasized Needo-solutions of all challenges and worldly problems in the present era call for Needonomics School of Thought.

He pointed out that the Union Budget 2023-24, allocating Rs 4503097 crore for Vikasit Bharat by 2047, reflects the government’s commitment to the Needonomics School of Thought.

He advocated for the NAW (Need, Affordability, and Worth) approach in marketing to anticipate needo-exports from Vikasit Bharat.

Prof. Goel stressed the importance of adopting needonomics principles for needo-wealth, needo-health, and needo-happiness to achieve a developed India by 2047.

Addressing various aspects of needonomics, he highlighted the importance of needo-consumption, needo-saving, needo-production, needo-investment, needo-distribution, altruism, and needo-trade for glocalization (thinking globally and acting locally).

Prof. Goel encouraged needo-altruism by promoting the philosophy of “Not Me but You,” emphasizing the responsibility to earn more than one’s expenses to support others in helping themselves.

Preparing for Vikasit Bharat by 2047, Prof. Goel urged a focus on an environment-friendly approach, emphasizing the need for a collective effort in transforming the behavior of stakeholders, including consumers, producers, distributors, traders, policymakers, and politicians.

He concluded by promoting a street SMART (Simple, Moral, Action-oriented, Responsive & Transparent) approach, asserting that Needonomics is a common-sense, ethical, and non-violent solution for a developed India by 2047.
