Gurugram : Lions Public School got a proud moment when 26 students from the school were honoured by ‘Hindustani Bhasha Academy’ in a function named ‘Medhavi Chhatra & Shikshak Samman Samaroh.’ The management of the school congratulated all acheiver students and teachers in the assembly .
The children of 11th Class who scored above 90% marks in Hindi in Class Xth CBSE Board Examination 2018 made the LPS proud passing another feather by getting this grand faelicitation for their academic achievement . These students were Ritika Singh, Prachi Yadav, Aayush Gupta, Bhagwat Garg, Aman Saxena, Jitender Yadav, Aman soni, Apeksha Tyagi, Nishtha Adesara, Prabhjeet Singh, Kanishka Singh, Sukomal Gill, Rounaq Rao, Kashish Sharma, Garima Bhardwaj, Jhanvi Singh, Namit Kumar, Vineet Yadav, Prerna Yadav, Aayush Kumar, Zeenat, Tanishka, Randeep Singh, Dimpy Singh, Tanisha Saxena and Ishita Pawar.
Along with these meritorious students Hindustani Bhasha Academy also honoured Parveen Gehlot a Hindi teacher for her painstaking efforts in making these children master our Mother tongue. She was appreciated by the Academy for her teaching methedology. Indeed it is encouraging for other students and teachers of the school to dedicate them towards their study and teaching responsibility respectively said Rajiv Kumar , the Manager of LPS sector 10 A, Gurugram on this occassion. He said that such moments catalyze others too to decide the goal for future.
It is remarkable that the achievement of this school is not only honoured by National forums but also recognized by International organisation too. In an Inter School Competition named ‘Science Fest’ in DPS, Sec-45, LPS students brought laurels to the school and proved their creativity in the field of designing . The students got three prizes in this Fest.
Rahul Pal (XII D) & Mayank Bhardwaj (XI D) bagged 1st Prize in making a Magazine Cover . Another student Gaveesh (IX B) & Manan Pulani (XI C) bagged 2nd Prize in Science Model Making and Jitender Yadav bagged 3rd Prize in Cryptic Hunt, by doing an experiment with given clues. They did well and briefed like a matured scientist about their experiment and result.
Such continuous sequence of award achievements reflect the contribution of teachers of this school . Considering this dedication a programme was organized by Lions Club International, Distt. 321 A1 too to honour the teachers of the school . This Teacher Honouring Ceremony was held at Russian Culture Centre Delhi. The Principal, Renu Verma, English HOD, Mamta Shridhar and Deputy Coordinator Anita Wadhwa were given Trophies as an Appreciation Award. All students & teachers were given a thunderous applause in the school assembly on Monday.
