GURUGRAM : Music is in the Air:……….With its grand opening, Karaoke Club of Gurgaon opened a new chapter for the enlightening of lives of the music lovers residing in Millennium city. Indeed it got huge applause from the music lovers as well as civil society having deep inclination towards culture and art. In the inaugural session held on 15th July at Richmond Club House, Gurgaon the audience enjoyed very well as they got all under one roof for their recreation and rejuvenation.
The inaugural meet of the Karaoke Club took place with great enthusiasm and festive fervor in the Richmond Club House in Gurgaon on Sunday with the melodious performance of series of singers and artists. Exclusive factor of this event was the method to enlist the singers sequence. According to Noted Artist Col. R C Chadha the management of Karaoke Club decided to finalize the sequence of singers through a draw. More than 22 singers of different singing styles were in the line to perform at the stage. It was difficult to select their sequence and also had to do justice with all by opting a transparent way of selection. Hence we opted draw method prepared the final list of all 22 singers who got an opportunity to present melodious songs from the Golden Era of Bollywood to a receptive audience who cheered the performers.
He said that Karaoke club of Gurgaon will hold its musical meets at least once a month and will welcome anyone who has a flare for singing and would like to perform on stage in front of music lovers.
On this great musical evening the audience were waiting for the fantastic performance of Col. RC Chadha and Ms. Lilly Singh who are better known as the musical maestros not only in Delhi NCR Cities but also outside India. It is a fact that Col R C Chadha had many opportunities to perform in the Radio Station of Canada and other countries too. on this Sunday too they presented their enchanting voices and encouraged the singers and joined them in some of the duets .The audience were almost bound to listen them by heart and soul.
A well-choreographed dance sequence by the senior citizen couples was an added attraction of the evening. The elite musical audience enjoyed the evening over a cup of tea and hot snacks.
The Karaoke Club of Gurgaon is a joint initiative of Col. RC Chadha and Ms. Lilly Singh the well known musical leading lights of Gurgaon. Col. Chadha is the founder of the Global Cultural Foundation and has spearheaded the promotion of music and cultural events in the NCR for the last over 15 years. After his retirement from the Service of Nation he decided to dedicate his life for the society.
Ms. Lilly Singh, the founder of Ramneek Arts, is a renowned radio and TV artist. She has also been promoting music and culture in the city and NCR and presenting regular shows and music programs. She is enriching the lives of Senior Citizens through her initiative known as SARGAM, a musical group where members meet in her house every fortnight to practice singing and pursue music as their hobby.
