New Delhi: Rescue and emergency response operations are underway on a war footing following the building collapse in Satya Niketan, RK Puram, with multiple agencies working to rescue those feared trapped under the debris.
Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Fire Services, Delhi Police, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), CATS and Civil Defence have been deployed at the site.
As a precautionary measure, an adjacent building has been evacuated. Authorities said every possible effort is being made to safely rescue those trapped and provide immediate assistance to affected families.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has directed all concerned agencies to maintain close coordination and ensure a swift response. The situation is being continuously monitored by the authorities.
