Varanasi: Devotees and Kanwariyas visiting Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham for the darshan of Lord Shri Visheshwar on the first Monday of the holy month of Shravan (August 3, 2026) were accorded a grand welcome with a shower of flower petals by the temple administration.
The ceremonial reception was organised to welcome thousands of pilgrims arriving at the temple during one of the most significant days of the Shravan month, which holds special religious importance for devotees of Lord Shiva.
The event was conducted in the presence of the Divisional Commissioner, Varanasi Division, the Chief Executive Officer of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Deputy Collector of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Naib Tehsildar of the temple, along with other officials and staff of the temple administration.
The floral welcome added to the festive and devotional atmosphere at the temple, as devotees from across the country gathered to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva on the auspicious occasion.
