New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu will undertake a three-day visit to Odisha from August 3 to 5, 2026, during which she will participate in educational and religious programmes across the state.
On August 3, the President will inaugurate Jagadguru Kripalu University in Cuttack, marking the commencement of her official engagements during the visit.
On August 4, President Murmu will undertake a train journey from Bhubaneswar to Berhampur, highlighting the significance of the rail network in the region. During the visit, she will offer darshan and perform aarti at the Maa Kandhuni Devi Temple and the Shiva Temple at Taptapani, two prominent religious sites in Odisha.
The visit is expected to include interactions with local stakeholders and participation in events aimed at promoting education, culture and the state’s rich spiritual heritage.
