New Delhi: Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar held a series of high-level meetings with the country’s top constitutional leaders in the national capital, discussing the current situation in the state and various issues related to its development and governance.
During his visit, Governor Gangwar called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the two leaders are understood to have discussed matters concerning Jharkhand and issues of national importance.
The Governor also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at Parliament House, continuing his engagements with senior constitutional authorities.
Earlier, on August 2, Governor Gangwar met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. During the meeting, he briefed the Home Minister on the prevailing situation in Jharkhand and shared information on several important matters concerning the state’s administration, governance and development.
The meetings are seen as part of the Governor’s ongoing consultations with the Union leadership on issues related to Jharkhand and its future development priorities.
