Ayodhya : The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the prestigious position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya.
According to the notification issued by the Trust, the selected candidate will be appointed for a three-year service contract, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance. The place of posting will be Ayodhya.
Eligibility Criteria for CEO Post
As per the details mentioned in the notification, candidates applying for the position must fulfil the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
- Age Limit: Between 50 and 70 years.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in managerial responsibilities in a large public organisation, institution, government department or company.
The candidate should have experience in handling and coordinating multiple functional areas, including:
- General Administration
- Finance
- Accounts
- Human Resources
- Public Relations
- Information Technology
- Security
- Legal Affairs and other related fields
Preference will be given to candidates having experience as a Chief Administrative Officer or those associated with the management of a temple or Hindu religious institution.
Retired officers with the required experience, skills and competence are also eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer
The appointed CEO will serve as the senior executive authority of the Trust and will be responsible for managing the organisation’s statutory, administrative and financial affairs.
The responsibilities include:
- Developing systems, procedures and operational practices suitable for the Trust’s functioning.
- Strengthening the organisational structure according to the objectives and requirements of the institution.
- Ensuring efficient management of present activities and future development plans.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and Trust Deed provisions.
- Maintaining transparency and accountability in financial transactions, accounting systems and institutional information.
- Managing security arrangements in coordination with local, state and central authorities whenever required.
- Ensuring smooth conduct of religious worship, rituals, festivals and ceremonies according to established traditions.
- Ensuring safety, convenience and satisfaction of pilgrims and devotees visiting the temple.
- Making arrangements for distinguished guests and eminent saints visiting the institution.
- Protecting and managing the Trust’s assets and ensuring their lawful utilisation.
- Implementing plans under the guidance of the Board of Trustees and the General Secretary.
Religious and Language Requirements
The notification states that the applicant must be an actively practising Hindu. Candidates belonging to the Vaishnava tradition and having devotion towards Lord Ram will be considered desirable.
Applicants must have good working knowledge of Hindi and English.
