Calgary, Canada: Indian High Commissioner to Canada Dinesh K. Patnaik addressed the 2026 Alberta Investment Forum, organised on the sidelines of the prestigious Calgary Stampede, highlighting the growing potential for strengthening economic cooperation, trade, and investment ties between India and Canada.
During his address, High Commissioner Patnaik emphasised the vast opportunities available for deeper collaboration between the two countries across various sectors and encouraged greater engagement between businesses, investors, and industry stakeholders.
As part of the programme, the High Commissioner also participated in a business roundtable with representatives of Indian companies operating in Canada. The discussions focused on expanding commercial partnerships, enhancing investment opportunities, and promoting stronger business-to-business (B2B) engagement between Indian and Canadian enterprises.
The interaction reflected the shared commitment of both countries to further strengthen economic relations and create new avenues for cooperation, innovation, and investment.
