Trivandrum : Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth visited the Trivandrum Military Station under the Southern Command of the Indian Army on May 8, 2026, to review the station’s operational preparedness and ongoing developmental initiatives.
During the visit, the Raksha Rajya Mantri interacted with Army personnel and obtained firsthand insights into the operational readiness and welfare measures being implemented at the military station. Senior officials briefed him on various operational, administrative, and infrastructure-related initiatives aimed at enhancing combat capability and strengthening institutional efficiency.
The Minister appreciated the professionalism, dedication, and commitment demonstrated by officers and soldiers serving at the station. He commended the formation for maintaining a high level of operational preparedness while also ensuring the welfare and well-being of Armed Forces personnel and their families.
Shri Sanjay Seth also reaffirmed the Government of India’s commitment to strengthening the country’s defence capabilities through modernization, advanced infrastructure development, and sustained welfare initiatives for military personnel. He emphasized that these efforts are aligned with the national vision of building a future-ready and technologically advanced Indian Army capable of meeting emerging security challenges effectively.
