MCG is in Effort to Increase Revenue, Water Bill Correction Camps from Nov 8th to 30th

Gurugram : To provide relief to city residents from water bill-related problems and strengthen revenue collection, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram will organize special water bill correction and connection approval camps in various wards throughout November. According to the schedule released by the corporation, these camps will be held from November 8th to 30th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The main objective of these camps is to provide on-the-spot resolution of water and sewerage bill disputes, resolve issues such as incorrect readings, bill corrections, name corrections, and balance reconciliations, and approve water and sewerage connections on the same day. This camp aims to increase revenue for the Municipal Corporation while also providing convenience to citizens.

November 8 – House No. 384, Ramlila Ground, Jacobpura

November 9 – J-S/21, DLF Phase-2 (Councilor’s Office)

November 15 – House No. A-56, Ashok Vihar Phase-1, near Hanuman Temple

November 16 – Councilor’s Office, Pocket E, Sector-21, near the Police Mess

November 22 – House No. V-40/2, DLF Phase-3

November 23 – House No. 4579P, Sector-23A, near the Government School

November 29 – Councilor’s Office, Ward-12, Village Jharsa

November 30 – House No. 918, Sector-31, Councilor’s Office

The respective councilor, corporation engineer, and appointed officials will be present at each site. The corporation administration has given clear instructions to officials for the successful conduct of these camps. The Assistant Engineer (Water Billing) will ensure the overall organization and monitoring of the camp. The Junior Engineer will coordinate the water billing team.

The JE of the Development Wing will coordinate with the concerned councilor/RWA. The CFC in-charge has been instructed to ensure the availability of a cashier.

Citizens will receive immediate benefits

According to Pradeep Dahiya, Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, visitors to these camps will be provided with on-the-spot connection approvals, bill corrections, payment facilities, and technical assistance, eliminating the need for frequent office visits. This initiative by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram is considered an important step towards the speedy resolution of pending water and sewerage service issues in the city and improved revenue management.
