MCG Organizes Cleanliness Awareness Program in Government Secondary School, Fazilpur Jharssa

– Haryana City Cleanliness Campaign gaining momentum in Gurugram, children appealed to citizens to maintain cleanliness

Gurugram : Under the Haryana City Cleanliness Campaign, Municipal Corporation Gurugram organized a cleanliness awareness program in Government Secondary School, Fazilpur Jharssa in collaboration with CD Sankalp Sanstha. Councilor of Ward No. 16 Vikramjit Singh was present as the chief guest in the program. Dr. Vivek Yadav, founder of CD Sankalp Sanstha and Municipal Corporation Gurugram’s Cleanliness Brand Ambassador Kuldeep Hindustani attended as special guests.

On this occasion, Councilor Vikramjit Singh made the children aware of the importance of cleanliness. He said that a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy life. On the occasion of his birthday, he inspired the children to plant trees and said that with the thinking of ‘one plant, one life’, every person should contribute to tree plantation.

Cleanliness Brand Ambassador Kuldeep Hindustani gave detailed information about the cleanliness campaign to the students. He explained the need to keep two separate dustbins for wet and dry waste at home. He also explained the importance of 3R i.e. reduce, reuse and recycle and said that every citizen should follow them. Dr. Vivek Yadav, founder of C D Sankalp Sanstha, made the students aware of the ill effects of single use plastic and took an oath to avoid its use. He said that plastic pollution is the biggest problem of today’s time, and the role of children is very important in reducing it.

At the end of the program, the children and the teachers present were administered the oath of cleanliness. On this occasion, the school principal Mrs. Pinky Yadav, school management and students contributed significantly in making the program successful. This initiative strengthens the resolution of Municipal Corporation Gurugram, under which a clean, healthy and environment friendly Gurugram is being built.
