– Chief Electoral Officer also gave necessary instructions regarding the voter list revision program through video conference
Gurugram : CTM Ravindra Kumar said that as per the instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer of the state, the revision of voter lists in the district will be done considering January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date. Apart from this, new BLOs will be appointed wherever needed.
After the video conference organized with the Chief Electoral Officer of the state Pankaj Aggarwal, he said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, there are 155 polling stations in polling station 76-Badshahpur with more than 1200 voters. BLOs will be appointed for these booths after the rationalization process is completed. In this regard, the District Education Officer / District Elementary Education Officer Gurugram has asked for the list of regular staff working in all the government schools under them. The work of BLO appointment will be completed as per the list. After this, a meeting will be held with the representatives of political parties by fixing the date and time with the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer.
CTM Ravindra Kumar said that the training of BLO supervisors of 76 Badshahpur Assembly constituency has been completed by the national level master trainers of the Election Commission of India on 9th and 10th June 2025. BLOs and BLO supervisors will also be given training by the Electoral Registration Officers and trained BLO supervisors after the appointment of BLOs. As soon as the BLO is appointed, ERO Net updates the BLOs and in future also after the appointment of BLOs, BLOs will be updated on ERO Net.
Instructions to BLOs to join the social media accounts of CEO and ECI
CTM Ravindra Kumar said that all BLOs will be instructed to join the social media accounts of CEO Haryana and ECI. He also directed the Public Relations Department to disseminate as much as possible the information and activities related to voters by the Election Department.
