-Tree Plantation Drive Organized in Collaboration with Nobel Foundation at Smriti Vatika
Gurugram : On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Suez in India organized a special awareness program. This year’s theme, “Zero Plastic for a Pollution-Free Future,” focused on promoting environmental conservation, collective participation, and sustainable living. The event included a tree plantation drive at Smriti Vatika in Sector 55, Gurugram, where approximately 170 participants planted eco-friendly trees.
Additionally, various activities such as a panel discussion on environmental issues, a poster exhibition, and community engagement initiatives were conducted. The primary focus of the event was addressing plastic waste management, collective responsibility, and building sustainable urban infrastructure.

The program was organized by Suez in India in collaboration with the Nobel Citizen Foundation. On this occasion, Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Ray, CEO of Suez in India, stated that “Zero plastic is not just a dream but a daily decision — essential for giving our planet and future generations a healthier environment, which requires active public participation.”
