– Necessary guidelines given to officials during review of property tax data correction and cleanliness system

Gurugram : In the monthly review meeting of Municipal Corporation Gurugram, Municipal Commissioner Ashok Garg issued clear and strict instructions to the officials.

He emphasized on expediting the process of property tax data correction and self-certification. He also asked to ensure that the applications related to new property ID are resolved quickly and the applications for data correction should not remain pending for a long time. The Municipal Commissioner said that with the cooperation of corporation members and RWA, facilities should be provided to the property owners by setting up camps in various areas of the city.

Regarding the cleanliness system, the Municipal Commissioner instructed all the Joint Commissioners to keep doing regular and surprise inspection of their respective zones. Also, the attendance of sanitation workers should be recorded 100 percent on the SWM monitoring portal. At present, out of 5066 registered employees, only 4134 attendance is being recorded on the portal. The Municipal Commissioner also directed to ensure that the attendance of the remaining 932 employees is also recorded on the portal.

Apart from this, he said that all the vehicles being used for cleaning should have GPS and they should be integrated with the portal. Officers should ensure that the payment process is done only on the basis of portal data.

Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr Balpreet Singh, Joint Commissioner Vishal Kumar, Dr Jaiveer Yadav, Akhilesh Kumar Yadav and Sumit Kumar, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka, Chief Town Planner Sanjeev Maan along with Executive Engineer and Zonal Taxation Officer were present in the meeting.
