Team India Concludes Nagoya Asian Games Campaign with 85 Medals, Finishes Fourth Overall

Embassy of India in Japan Commends Athletes and Team Members for Their Grit, Resilience and Hard Work

Nagoya, Japan: As the Asian Games held in Nagoya draw to a close today, Team India has concluded its campaign with a splendid performance, securing an overall fourth place in the Games.

India finished with a total of 85 medals, comprising 21 gold medals, 27 silver medals and 37 bronze medals. The performance reflected the grit, resilience, dedication and hard work of the Indian athletes and their teams, whose sustained efforts throughout the Games brought great pride to the country.

The Embassy of India in Japan sincerely commended the outstanding efforts of all the athletes and team members who contributed to Team India’s campaign. It congratulated every athlete and their respective teams for their strong performance and dedication at the Nagoya Asian Games.

The Embassy also said it was delighted and pleased to have been part of Team India’s journey in Nagoya and Japan, sharing in the experience and supporting the Indian contingent during the Games.

Commending the Indian contingent, the Embassy conveyed its appreciation to Team India for the memorable performance and extended its best wishes for the future.
