New Delhi : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will lead a high-level investment outreach programme in Mumbai on August 23-24 as part of the state’s preparations for the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2027, scheduled to be held in April next year.
The two-day programme will bring the Haryana government face-to-face with leading business groups, investors, private equity and venture capital representatives and members of the diaspora. The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Commissioner and Secretary, Industry and Commerce, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, and other senior officials.
The outreach is aimed at attracting both domestic and international investment, encouraging advanced industrial development and strengthening Haryana’s contribution to the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision.
Diaspora Interaction on August 23
The programme will begin on August 23 with a Diaspora Interaction and Dinner. A cultural presentation showcasing Haryana’s heritage will be organised along with an audio-visual presentation depicting the state’s transformation from “Heritage to a Harmonious Haryana.”
The Chief Minister will interact with representatives of the diaspora and industry leaders during the programme.
Investors Meet and Business Interactions
On August 24, Saini will participate in an Investors Meet and a breakfast roundtable with representatives from the private equity and venture capital sectors. The Chief Minister is also scheduled to hold one-to-one meetings with leading industry executives.
The main session will highlight Haryana’s investment opportunities, policy framework and the upcoming Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2.0. Industry representatives will share their perspectives, followed by an MoU exchange and a keynote address by the Chief Minister.
The subsequent individual meetings are expected to provide investors with an opportunity to explore specific projects and understand the state’s business and investment environment.
Focus on Emerging and High-Growth Sectors
The Haryana delegation will showcase opportunities across several emerging sectors, including electric vehicles and mobility, semiconductors, data centres, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and green energy.
Haryana’s proximity to the national capital remains one of its key investment advantages. Around 57 per cent of the state’s geographical area falls within the National Capital Region (NCR). Its road, rail, aviation and logistics networks further strengthen its connectivity for businesses and industries.
The state will also highlight its digital single-window clearance mechanism and sector-specific policies designed to simplify approvals and facilitate faster implementation of investment projects.
₹1.10 Lakh Crore Investment Intentions Received
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said Haryana is moving into a new phase of industrial and technological growth, supported by 11 recently introduced sectoral policies.
He said the state has already received initial investment intentions exceeding ₹1.10 lakh crore. According to the Chief Minister, the Mumbai outreach will focus on converting investor interest into long-term partnerships, speeding up project implementation, encouraging innovation and generating quality employment.
The Mumbai programme is expected to serve as an important step towards translating investment interest into concrete commitments, strategic collaborations and large-scale industrial projects ahead of the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2027.
